Ordered a set of these and they are simply amazing. Quality workmanship on the pipes and they sound great. Much better then the other plastic smallpipes I have played.
Fit and finish is superb, a nice even satin finish to the pipes, the chanter reed was setup well, and no air leaks at all (with hand tied stocks)
I would not hesitate to buy another set, but next time I think it will be blackwood. I don't think there will be much difference, but wood has that little extra...

Maclellan Smallpipes poly / delrin. Made of durable delrin. Small, light and portable. "O" rings are used to provide ease of maintenance. Great for playing indoors, or along with other instruments. The drones mount to a common stock, using Maclellans own miniature drone reeds. They give a rich stable sound, and the reeds are thread into the drone. The reeds are matched to the A440 or Bb, 466 chanters. The pipe comes ready to play with Bannatyne synthetic bag and water-trap, bag cover, and are fully reeded. Adding an alternate pitch chanter & reeds makes this a truly versatile instrument.
